No. 30 (Hobsonville) Squadron Established in November of 1968, No. 30 (Hobsonville) Squadron Air Training Corps has been training young people in military knowledge, bush craft, aviation, first aid and life skills for the past 40 years.
We parade every Thursday evenings from 6.30 to 9.30 at our base located on RNZAF Base Auckland (Whenuapai Airfield).
Air Training Corps - New Zealand Cadet Forces The New Zealand Cadet Forces (NZCF) comprise the Sea Cadet Corps, the New Zealand Cadet Corps and the Air Training Corps. It is a voluntary, disciplined, uniformed youth leadership training organisation for both boys and girls aged 13 to 18.
The organisation is not part of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), but is directed by the Chief of Defence Force, on behalf of the Minister of Defence, and is supported in partnership by the NZDF and the community.
